7 On Oakleigh Self-catering Garden flats are situated in the leafy, elite suburb of Wembley, on the north side of Pietermaritzburg, less than five kilometres from the city centre and ideally located for guest visiting city events, such as the Royal and Garden Shows, Hilton Arts Festival, Art in the Park and the start of the Duzi, Comrades Marathon and Amashova-shova and all the Capital’s sporting events.

It is also close to some of the Cities top schools, such as The Wykeham Collegiate, Cordwalles, Merchiston, Maritzburg College, Pietermaritzburg Girls High, St Johns, St Charles, Epworth and St Anne’s for parents from out of town.

Both Virgin Active’s (Cascades and Victoria Road) are less than 5 minutes’ drive away and there are a number of restaurants, pubs and coffee shops in the area. It is close to the Liberty Midlands Mall, Cascades Mall and Victoria Road Mall with the accompanying large chains of Pick ‘n Pay, Spar, Food Lover’s Market, Woolworths and Checkers for shopping convenience.

We are 100m away from Wylie Park and the Green Belt for walks and light hikes and the area is safe to cycle in (even if the hills are a little challenging).

Wembley is a quiet, residential area and the atmosphere at 7 On Oakleigh is restful and serene. The units are cosy, inviting and clean with very comfortable beds, luxurious percale bed linen and fluffy towels. Complimentary coffee, tea and rusks are provided on arrival as well as basic toiletries.

Also available to guests is a heated swimming pool, braai facilities, terrace and garden. The area has camera surveillance with a 24 hour manned guard hut and armed response. Secure off-street parking is provided with remote controlled access, the rooms are serviced daily during the week and a laundry service is available on request.

As part of a wellness centre, guests can attend Pilates, Aqua or Nia classes in our sprung floor studio and heated aqua pool with our very well qualified staff at an additional cost and space dependant, as well as arrange for personal training with a certified personal trainer.
